Chief Financial Officer
Pathways-VA, Inc. is seeking candidates to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Pathways is a 501c3 non-profit community development corporation with CFO duties including developing and managing organizational budgets, tracking and reporting for multiple sources of federal, state, local and private funding, audit preparation and compliance, and other related tasks.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, mastery in QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software, fluency of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, professional communication skills, and love of teamwork.
Preferred qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience working in fiscal management, particularly in the non-profit sector and a working knowledge of federal accounting regulations.

Pathways is seeking a full-time Academic Instructor for its youth/young adult workforce development, leadership and education programs. Programs focus on youth ages 17-24 that are out of school and looking to gain skills in job training, leadership, and academics. Responsibilities include coordination of academic program using a hybrid model of in class and online learning, individual and group instruction in High School Diploma and GED preparation, development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), remedial instruction, and college preparation. Subjects will include both mathematics and language arts and will include coordination with vocational instructors for educational integration and project based learning.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, experience facilitating online instruction, mastery of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, good oral and written communication skills, excellent classroom management skills, drivers’ license with good driving record, and love of teamwork.
Preferred qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals in remedial, alternative, adult education or specialized programs; and a background in Special Education.
