WELCOME TO PATHWAYS
OPENING DOORS TO OPPORTUNITY
We are a neighborhood partner building pathways to education, employment, good health and a revitalized community.
Pathways is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 community development corporation working to rebuild and strengthen Petersburg, VA and the surrounding counties.
Our vision for the region and beyond is a community of spiritual richness that offers a quality of life for all to live, work, learn, shop and play. We believe that Petersburg can become a viable commercial district with a strong housing market, good schools, safe streets, and public and recreational service for all.
An Important Message from Pathways:
Public Notice: Pathways-VA, Inc. Response to COVID-19 update June 5, 2020
The health, safety, and well-being of our staff, clients, participants, students, and partners is always our top priority. We have been closely monitoring activity related to COVID-19. We have gathered and reviewed information provided by the CDC, the State of Virginia, and our partners for the clinic and workforce providers. Utilizing information provided, Pathways has established its guidelines for how we will address these challenging times.
Friday June 5th, 2020 marks the beginning of Phase II of Virginia's Safer At Home guidelines.
Pathways welcomes Gov. Northam's announcement of these guidelines. However, in order to prepare staff, our facility, and to establish new procedures, Pathways will remain closed to the public except by appointment. Existing appointments for our clinic remain as scheduled. We anticipate this status to last 3 weeks.
We can't wait to see everybody! But we need to ensure that coming back together is a safe endeavor for students, patients, clients, and staff. Please continue to be patient as we navigate the new normal, and, as always, Stay Safe, Stay Kind.

One of Pathways' goals is to foster development that leads to the health of both a neighborhood and its residents as well as relationships between persons and their environment. These efforts provide the foundation for all we do.
Pathways, formerly Petersburg Urban Ministries, was begun in 1995 as an inter-faith community development corporation. It was incorporated in 1997 and received its 501(c)3 status in 1998.
