Healthy Community

One of Pathways’ goals is to foster development that leads to the health of both a neighborhood and its residents as well as relationships between persons and their environment.  These efforts provide the foundation for all that we do and lead to the development of programs in the following areas:

Personal Health Intervention
Pathways provides resources through an on-site medical clinic, visiting dental care, wellness workshops, advocacy and referrals, and counseling and support for mental and physical challenges and addictions.

Being Good Neighbors
Educational and social events that foster neighborhood attachment and good citizenship are planned in a cooperative effort with local residents and Pathways.

Outlets for artistic expression
In partnership with local artists and organizations, education and public forums are made available in both performing and fine arts.

Environmental Responsibility
Pathways is committed to preserving, restoring, creating, and educating for present and future generations.

Economic Development
Financial sustainability for both the neighborhood and its residents is achieved through Pathways’ support and creation of small businesses.
